FortisTCI is pleased to announce the topics/moot randomly assigned to schools participating in the 2023 National High School Science Debate.
The preliminaries, originally planned for mid-February, are now set for Thursday, March 2 at FortisTCI Headquarters in Providenciales. The semi-finals and finals will be held the following week, Wednesday March 8, 2023, at the Gustarvus Lightbourne Sports Complex, as part of the 2023 National Science and Technology Fair schedule of competitions during Education Week.
A virtual debate preparation meeting will be held on February 10, 2023, via Microsoft Teams for all teachers and students participating in the debate. This meeting will provide a brief overview of the science debate format to ensure participants know what to expect on the day and also creates a space for any questions. The link to access the meeting will be sent directly to participating schools.
